Dalgona Coffee
Dalgona coffee is the hottest new coffee drink with roots in a traditional South Korean sweet street food. Dalgona, honeycomb toffee, is very fluffy as is the foam in Dalgona coffee. Ingredients:
1 dl | sugar |
1 dl | water |
1 dl | Kulta Katriina Instant coffee powder |
2-3 tbs | organic licorice powder |
coconut milk | |
ice |
1 dl | sugar |
1 dl | water |
1 dl | Kulta Katriina Instant coffee powder |
coffee milk or a plant-based milk of your choice |
Instructions:
Licorice Dalgona
- Whisk water, sugar and instant coffee powder vigorously with a hand mixer.
- Fold the organic licorice powder into the foam.
- Fill a glass with ice and add coconut milk until the glass is a little over half full.
- Fill the glass with licorice coffee foam.
Traditional Dalgona
- Whisk water, sugar and instant coffee powder vigorously with a hand mixer.
- Heat the milk drink till approximately 65 C and pour it into a glass until it is a little over half full.
- Fill the glass with the instant coffee foam.
